Patch – 90’s f/ Xon (Prod. Mtf Mob) [New Song]

patchPatch Drops New Music ’90’s’.

With a bunch of tunes already in the can for Summer ’16, London wordsmith Patch wastes no time in dropping something new after his acclaimed EP ‘Space Between The Heartbeats’. The EP which he released in early Spring was championed by SBTV, Indie Shuffle, Clash and a host of tastemaker sites and Hype Machine bloggers. New track 90’s sees the continuation of his late night sound of dreamscape like synths alongside trademark introspective wordplay and realness on the mic.

As the title suggests, Patch describes “The song was inspired by someone who reminded me of what it felt like to have a crush on a girl back when I was a kid in the 90’s. That same intensity but without the innocence.”

The element that binds all of his music together is his concept of ‘Drunken Philosophy/Embrace Your Contradictions’. Patch describes “I created the Drunken Philosophy/Embrace Your Contradictions movement as a way of encouraging myself and others to express all elements of who they are, even the bits that don’t make sense to the rest of the world”… “Like many of us I like to party but I’m also very passionate about philosophy and spirituality, so the phrase Drunken Philosophy sums that up.”
