Paul2000 is an artist who appears to have seen it all. Life-threatening experiences have led this Chicago-based troubadour to the place where he feels most safe: producing beats and rhyming over music. Freestyling throughout his youth, Paul has now taken his abilities to the next level and begun releasing his own kind of music, which is excellent.
Paul2000’s debut single, ‘Super Dope,’ has melodic lines and autotune vocals. It’s hip-hop with a modernised twist, and his incredibly addictive rhyming style reflects years of developing and improving his flow and artistry. The sound is airy and fits Paul2000’s vivid hip-hop style, and ‘Super Dope’ seems like the perfect debut installment from the project.
Paul says “After finally reaching a point where I started to slowly get better, I rediscovered my passion for hip hop and making music. The hook starts off with“Ya you know I gotta go and hit the road, no more time to waste cos time ain’t moving slow”. With losing so many years of my life I feel like I need to push as hard as I can to reach my goals in a short amount of time.”
