PIXY Turns MADEBYGOD Into a Complete Visual Experience
British-Brazilian artist PIXY has had quite the year with “LEGACY”, but she’s clearly not looking to let one viral hit define her career.
She’s now released self-directed music videos for every track on her MADEBYGOD EP, including “TRAD WIFE”, “THRONE” and “2 DRACOS”, featuring Asenssia and Ledbyher.
What I find interesting is the decision to take creative control of the visuals rather than simply riding the success of “LEGACY”. With the track approaching a reported 190 million streams and even landing a remix featuring North West, it would have been easy to keep the attention on that one record.

Keeping MADEBYGOD exclusive to SoundCloud is another interesting move. It’s not necessarily the conventional route for an artist attracting this much attention, but it gives the project its own identity.
The real test for PIXY now is whether the audience drawn in by “LEGACY” sticks around for the rest of her music. Giving every track its own visual is a smart way to encourage exactly that.
