Watch Quavo’s new videos for “Hold Me” and Deciples.”
From Atlanta to Paris, Quavo’s new “Hold Me” video honours Takeoff’s legacy.
In the jubilant footage, Quavo sees the Eiffel Tower, goes to a pop-up store, and more in Paris after attending a memorial ceremony in Atlanta for his late nephew.
“You the only one going through the motions / I was trapped up in all my emotions,” he raps to his audience. The lyric goes as follows: “Lost my nephew to gunplay and smoke shit / Lost my dawgs to some petty ass ho shit.”
In addition to Young Thug, Hunxho, and BabyDrill, “Hold Me” can be found on Quavo’s most recent and second solo album, Rocket Power.
Launching shortly after the release of Rocket Power, the following video from the album, “Disciples,” stars Quavo.
The short, directed by Keemotion, begins with Quavo in church before cutting to him and another masked man in jail.
“Now it turned into survival / I don’t trust nothin’ but my family and my rifle / I ain’t paying attention to nobody but my rivals,” he raps thoughtfully over the Murda Beatz and Bitton-produced tune.
As a follow-up to his last video, “Hold Me,” the “Disciples” video has now been released. Quavo’s second solo effort, titled Rocket Power, has 18 tracks and features guest appearances from Young Thug, Hunxho, and BabyDrill.
