Quavo’s latest album, Rocket Power, is a tribute to his late nephew and fellow Migo, Takeoff.
Honcho’s second solo album has a track called “Greatness” in which he pays homage to Takeoff and a track called “Turn Your Clic Up” in which he teams up with fellow ATLien Future.
On two tracks, “Patty Cake” and “Back Where It Begins,” Takeoff appears with his late uncle Future. Other songs on the 18-song collection are “Fueled Up,” “Wall to Wall,” “Rocket Power,” “Mama Told Me,” and more. “Focused” features Young Thug, while “Stain” has Hunxho and BabyDrill as guest contributors.
The 2018 album Quavo Honcho was Quavo’s first as a solo artist, and Rocket Power is the sequel. It’s also his first release since 2022’s Only Built For Infinity Links, an album he recorded alongside Takeoff. A month later, Takeoff was gunned down in Houston.
