CK & Hlava are UK Vocalist Bekki Hlava and Los Angeles based producer CK Jones. These young women met during a studio session, and each was impressed with the other’s talent and drive. They later continued with overseas communication and in the process realized that Bekki’s strong vocals complemented CK’s hip-hop influenced melodies.
British-American duo, CK & Hlava, are back with their newest single “Raw Love”. This is their second installment to three-song-project, “Light the Way”, which is titled after their recently released debut single. Raw Love was created by Bekki Hlava, CK Jones, and John Claborn, alongside grammy winner Mauricio “Veto” Iragorri (Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc.)
This emotianlly charged song is expressed through Bekki Hlava’s beautiful melodies and interweiving harmonies. CK’s ambient and spacey production compliments Hlava as she belts her desire for a “raw love, harsh love, or none at all.”
CK & Hava’s debut marks the beginning for these young women and their careers as they remain hard at work while persevering in a famously male-dominated industry.
