RADAR: Edges – Keeper

Edges - ‘Keeper’

Listen to Edges’ new poetic track ‘Keeper.’

Serving reckless electronics with tempered R&B, Edges are one of the resident artists at Camden’s Roundhouse, where they are due to headline as part of their first national tour on 15 February 2017. Edges are a band that uplift people like them with innovative music and banging beats that people can see themselves in side of. Combining global heritage, social vigilance and queer culture with a new perspective on what it means to be British today. As a band, Edges make music that honestly reflects the seemingly disparate communities they come from.

Experimenting with perspective, Edges question gender, race and sexuality through collaborations in film, digital art and music, curating contemporary culture for messy millennials. Due to release the first track from their forthcoming EP in early 2017. Keeper, which features Nigerian born spoken-word artist Dylema, is described by lead singer Adem as “a story that chronicles the demise of a dear friend’s relationship with a watless ex… we’ve all got friends that we’ve seen date people they have no business wasting time on, this song should give you something to say to them next time”.
