imKENNETHY is an aspiring producer and artist based in California. Starting out making beats from a young age, he has a need and want to always collaborate with other artists and release consistently in this mould. This has led to a debut EP released in 2021, and wants to continue the momentum he was built with fresh new single ‘WYA’.
‘WYA’ isn’t your typical hip-hop song, it’s meticulously crafted together by imKENNETHY with his love for chill and melancholic lo-fi coming into play from the off. A real nice horn sample sets the tone, and then he showcases his rapping and flow throughout the track, with a real smoothness and personality shining through. imKENNETHY seems to be in his own wave length entirely, and we’re along for the ride.
