Lipstick Killer drops new song “Best Revenge” and it’s HARD!
Lipstick Killer, born Latasha Drummond, is a free spirited, wild hearted gypsy, bohemian rocker rapping chick. Yes. You read it. She is all those things. She is also one of Kansas City’s finest rap lyricists hailing all the way from Pittsburgh PA. People ask what is it about her? What separates her from the other rap chicks in the game? Lipstick Killer explains her uniqueness, “My subject matter. People, women, moms, street cats…. I have something everyone can relate to; nothing is far from their reach. I’m not knocking what others are doing, that’s them and they do that well…. I’m just me. There are certain things I don’t care about….I talk about what is important to me. I’m rough around the edges, I’m cute but I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, I’m dark…I’m happy in a leather jacket and some scuffed up chucks. Simple. I care about my content; I love people and I want to help.”
Presently, she is working on her Ep, which is to be released in 2017 under her brothers’ indie label, Urban Sixties, also the home of indie bass hop rocker, Johnny Goood.

Lipstick explains, “The most important thing I learned about the music industry is that you must have a team that gets you and understands every little detail about your vision. They need to make it their vision. And trust. Without that, you truly are lost out here. “
