Brooklyn artist Mal the Oddity celebrates black boy joy on his latest self-produced release, THEY DON’T CARE !!.
Thriving over a bubbly post-trap production, Mal and featured artist Ezra Waters are clearly comfortable in their own skins. Remaining conscious of the world around them while eschewing the label of “conscious rap”—Mal and Ezra are just artists who stay true to their existences. Showcasing a mix of autotune, laid back bars, and rap-singing, THEY DON’T CARE !! introduces us to a new, atmospheric, authentic take on the rap genre.
Mal the Oddity & Ezra Waters are members of NoCoast, a collective of creatives bent on sharing free spirit, joy, and their unique takes on the world through music, digital media, fashion, and events.
