The hip-hop-duo Saint share a double-single ‘Drivin / Ridin Thru’ featuring OTAY.
The duo consists of the producer Hans Zamroud and the rapper Carllo Yeboah, who are both a part of a collective called Golden Lake. They have got a sound which is inspired by contemporary American hiphop-artists, but with a twist on it, which makes it very much their own.
The lead-single Drivin’ is inspired by artists such as Tyga – with a smooth and slick flow, and a bouncy beat it is a perfect single for the summer and for the clubs.
The b-side Ridin’ Thru’ is a love-song for the hiphop-generation. It is melodic and emotional and is inspired by Travis Scott’s slow and lyrical songs. It is still very much a song for the clubs, but while Drivin’ feels more celebratory towards the party-lifestyle, Ridin’ Thru’ exhibits a longing for something more – love.
Saint released their three previous singles independently, but they are now signed to Blond Records and are very much ready to take the next step forward in their careers.
