Only adding to the quality of the diverse rap emerging from the West coast of Australia, Static Noize are set to drop their most chilling single to date with the heart-sinking Revenge.
Formed in the late summer of 2016, the group is comprised of Siri Da Cupid and Trilla Venus and this Burundian duo have been quick to impress. Their debut single Party was able to secure radio play with Victorian tastemakers Aud$ validating them in the eyes of Australia’s underground. November 10th 2017 saw Static Noize release their hotly anticipated EP, Electric Nights, which featured Solo Tohi of Justice Crew. With the successful release of their EP, Static Noize then presented visuals for their track Famin’, the video went on to be featured on ABC’s Rage.
Not to waste the recognition, the duo kicked off 2018 with a three track EP, Timeless, the lead single, Lying, immediately receiving support on community radio. They later released the visuals for Lying which went on to surpass 20k views on Youtube and secured them an article in the influential Australian blog Thank Guard, calling them “the hottest new hip-hop group in Australia.”. Still riding the momentum of that late summer, Static Noize returned in the late winter of 2018 with the LP Project 03 and headlined their first ever show.
Revenge was produced and recorded by longtime collaborator Colcci in his home studio. Heartbreak being the main motivation for writing the track as one of the duo was going through rough time and expressed it through their music with hope that it could help others in the same situation. This is why Static Noize deliver their hauntingly melodic vocals over a synthesized flute and seething 808’s, Revenge is a release from anguish for both Siri Da Cupid, Trilla Venus and their growing squad of fans.
