RADAR: Tenjin — Mama Don’t Know

Tenjin

Tenjin, the latest rising Hip-Hop artist and entertainer from Detroit, MI is set to release his new single “Mama Don’t Know”. The new single will be available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Tidal, and many other digital platforms.

According to Tenjin, the single “Mama Don’t Know” is a story about the dark side of social media, told through contrasting humorous lyrics over a hard-hitting Kanye-esque beat.

“I found myself basically living online. Everything is just so accessible on your phone that it’s easy to get lost into that world, and basically stay there…using it for everything” says Tenjin when asked about the inspiration behind the latest single. “But the things about social media, and the online world in general that make life easier, are the same things that are damaging if used excessively. This single reflects that tightrope experience in a way, by using lyrics with a comedic feel to them to explain something darker lying underneath.”

In addition to the single, the debut album “Bedtime Stories” which is rated 5/5 on Apple Music, is available to stream and download on all digital music platforms. The album is a continuous story of the ups and downs of being a youth in Detroit, and paralleling those experiences with life and general, using as an analogy some of the most famous bedtime stories we all grew up hearing.

Tenjin is one half of the Intrinsic Harmony Music duo, who are aspiring music writers and entertainers from Detroit, MI. With a style that intends to bridge the gap between good old-fashioned lyricism and the more modern sound of Hip-Hop, Tenjin tells a different story on every song, doing so over instrumentals that have defined the sound and state of Hip-Hop in the recent years.
