Here we go again. Rich Homie Quan had some explaining to do earlier this month when almost 100 of his and Young Thug’s tracks leaked on the web. The real issue were not the dozens of lost songs, but one particular cut in question which promoted rape. In the track “I Made It,” RHQ delivered some messy lyrics about sexually assaulting a woman and hitting her with “these black fists just like a panther.”
As one might suggest, Quan was forced to issue a statement on his controversial bars. Claiming that he “would never condone rape,” he explained the track was unfinished and was not supposed to come out. He later stopped by The Breakfast Club where he blamed the lyrics he recorded a few years ago on his young age.
Just when it seemed like everyone forgave him for his misstep or at least forgot about it, another track containing even more blatant rape reference came to our notice. In a track titled “Day 1,” which was part of the massive leak, he raps:
“Chances ain’t **** if you dont take one Mansion full of ****es, bout to rape one”
It is really hard to defend Rich Homie Quan right now. He basically got away with his first rape reference, but now that there is a second one, the controversy might result in canceled shows or far more serious backlash from his fans.
