Ray J pleads not guilty to misdemeanor charges of sexual battery, among others.
In July we reported that Ray J was charged with sexual battery, stemming from an incident at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, when a woman alleged that Ray J touched her behind inappropriately. At the time, it seemed like the cops agreed that the actions were accidental and not of a “sexual battery” nature, however they still had to haul Ray J away after he began to cause a scene, which included kicking out a cop’s car window and spitting in the face of a police officer.
Today Page Six of NYPost reports, unsurprisingly, that Ray J has plead not guilty to the “misdemeanor charges of sexual battery, vandalism, battery on a police officer and resisting a peace officer.”
His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 28th, so we’ll have an update on the situation then.
