Jonny Parks – Reprise (From Heaven)

Having shown an early interest in music at the age of 8 by owning a keyboard and harmonica, Jonny Parks has become a multi-instrumentalist who works on mastering his craft and broadening his musical horizons. With the release of 3 EPs (Room 327DrugFall, and Sidekick Stories), and an album (The PortiaLP), Jonny Parks is steadily gaining popularity throughout NYC with performances in venues such as: Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, SOB’s, Pianos, Amateur Night at the Apollo and more.

Corina Corina – BAR$

Corina Corina BAR$

“BAR$” is the opening track of Corina Corina’s third full-length album, Hangover Music. Due out later this year, the album is a conceptual project written about all the aspects of her lifelong relationship with alcohol, in conjunction with themes of empowerment, loneliness, regret and love. A seasoned vet in the nightlife industry, Corina Corina has had a love/hate relationship with her “day job” for years. Bartending has been a large part of her daily life for so long that it inevitably found its way into her creative life and has become a theme in her songwriting as well.

“BAR$” adopts a more empowered viewpoint from previous releases, as the protagonist is exhausted and jaded but not at all a victim; she knows exactly what she’s doing, she’s a hustler and knows how to play the game. All the blood, sweat and tears she has endured from decades behind the bar have enabled her to invest in her music career, in fact, every single dollar she put into the creation of Hangover Music came from bar money.

madison

Rising indie pop singer, Madison Beer releases her debut EP, As She Pleases today, as tickets for the UK and European leg of her upcoming headline tour go on sale.

As She Pleases follows the release of featured single ‘Dead’ (which has notched up over 60 million streams to date) and the Fred Ball (Rihanna, Little Mix, Madonna) produced track ‘Say It To My Face’. The seven-track EP, co-written by Madison, serves as an embodiment of the teenage experience: from the Monsters & Strangerz (Selena Gomez, Kanye West) produced Teenager in Love and the Tim “One Love” Summers produced Fool, through to the bopping, Big Taste produced Home With You, and the Fight Club inspired, stripped-down ballad, Tyler Durden.

As She Pleases could mean a lot of different things.”, says Madison. “To me it’s about strength, empowerment, and attitude. It’s about trusting in yourself, knowing your worth, and above all else never allowing anyone or anything to break your spirit. Happiness, self-love, and self-empowerment. This is your life. Do as you please… I sure do. This is from my heart, soul, and mind, each song representing a different piece of me.”
