Redhanded Release ‘Retrograde’ Album

Redhanded

Four-piece, London based, alt rock band Redhanded are ready to reveal their explosive debut album, the ten track wonder that is ‘Retrograde’. Following closely on from their debut single, ‘Exit’, the mysterious sophomore ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ and finally their third, fiery offering ‘Bottom’. They return to us now, ready to unleash their unique, eclectic take on Rock N Roll, melodic Blues, Metal and alt Rock with the masterpiece collection ‘Retrograde’.

Featuring all three previously released singles alongside two shorter transitional tracks ‘Untergang’ and ‘Lila’, the remaining five unheard tunes are utterly enthralling. Right from the very beginning we are catapulted into a world of ecstasy with lead Single ‘The Circle’, which claims its rightful place as the absolute showstopper, boasting pulsating rhythms, anthemic vocals and gnarly riffs that grab your attention and speak to your very soul.

‘Undone’ harnesses that Red Hot Chilli Pepper-esque sound combined with catchy, soaring choruses. An almighty gong sounds, marking the beginning of the fifth track ‘Dead in The Water’, as smooth siren-like vocals call out, beckoning you deeper. ‘Firefight’ brings us back up for air before we sink down into the dark, rushing waves of ‘Deep Blue’.

Bursting with attitude ‘Retrograde’ features a glorious array of powerful, dynamic drumming, alluring, sensual bass, heroic, undulating guitar shredding and slick, husky vocals that simply command attention. A debut worthy of remembrance ‘Retrograde’ is undoubtedly the full package delivering the entirety of the Rock n Roll experience.

“Our debut album ‘Retrograde’ has been a labour of love and a personal journey for all of us. Our core sound was forged in the jam room, and refined over time – at the end of the day, we wanted to create an album that was organic, honest and truly representative of all four of our personalities in every song. We were drawing on decades of diverse musical influences that shaped us, but at the same time, we were trying to craft something that sounded modern, contemporary and accessible. Above all, we wanted to create an album we could listen back to, be proud of, and genuinely enjoy. That’s where it all began for us, and to that end, we feel that we have succeeded.” – Redhanded
