Rema’s New EP ‘RAVAGE’ Marks the Beginning of a New Chapter

Rema

Renowned artist Rema is making waves in the music industry with his new EP ‘RAVAGE.’ This EP signifies the start of a new era as he transitions from the ‘Rave & Roses’ era into something new.

The EP opens with “Trouble Maker,” a track inspired by the constant scrutiny and criticism Rema has faced throughout his career. He defiantly embraces the title of “the trouble maker,” refusing to be pigeonholed by labels.

“DND” is a statement track that allows Rema to find solace in silence and protect his energy. It’s a reflection of his journey through the noise and chaos of the industry.

“Smooth Criminal” celebrates Rema’s ability to reinvent himself and stay at the top of his game since day one.

“Don’t Leave” reflects the sacrifices and dedication he’s given to his career, often at the expense of personal relationships.

“Red Potion” delves into the dynamic between two potential lovers, highlighting the consequences of playing with fire.

The EP’s artwork is a significant part of Rema’s artistry. It features a horse symbolizing his drive, a skeleton holding a sword representing his inner fighter, and a brain with a glowing pineal gland, signifying his awakening and activation of his third eye. The artwork also includes the spinal cord as a symbol of resurrection and green floral elements signifying growth.

This year, Rema has performed in numerous European countries and states across the US, including a show at The O2 in London, marking his biggest performance to date.

Rema has achieved remarkable milestones, such as becoming the first African artist to reach a billion streams on Spotify, winning the first VMA in the best Afrobeats category, and earning a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

He’s also made chart-topping hits like “Calm Down,” which has climbed the UK Official Charts and the Billboard Hot 100. He’s set to return home for a homecoming show and his first headline shows in Lagos and Abuja.

Rema continues his mission to take African music to the world, paying homage to those who paved the way before him at every step.
