Rema Releases Deluxe Edition for “Raves & Roses Ultra” Album

Rema

Over a year after the release of his debut album, Rema, a musician from Benin City, releases the deluxe edition of that album, titled Raves & Roses Ultra.

The 22-year-old hasn’t slowed down much since his beginnings; he’s already reached No. 4 on the OCC and No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, and his albums have gone Gold once, Diamond six times, and Platinum nine times throughout the world. To mark the first anniversary, Rema has released an Ultra edition of her album, which includes three new tracks. Single “Charm,” created by London (who also produced “Calm Down”), is typical of Rema in that it blends a sensual rhythm with personal and amusing lyrics.

Rema’s career has skyrocketed in the last several years. From his sold-out tour to his performance at the NBA All-Star game with Burna Boy and Tems to Jimmy Fallon, Rema has won over fans of all ages. The singer not only speaks for his own age, but also for Benin City, Nigeria, and Africa. He takes this honour and duty seriously. It’s hard to imagine that someone as young as Rema, who is now 22, could have gone through such extremes in their life in little over two decades. Since he first started out, he came in and radically altered the status quo, quickly rising to prominence as one of the biggest and most well-known names in the new generation of Afrobeats stars.

Rema’s music, which he has named “AfroRave,” has been warmly embraced all around the globe. However, it has been particularly well received in India and the Middle East. Rema has said that she was inspired by African, Indian, and Arabic sounds, which has led to her impending tour of India in May, which will include a visit in Jerusalem, and another major announcement very soon.
