Rich Homie Quan’s brand-new EP, Family & Mula, his debut project on his Rich Homie Ent/Venice Music label in collaboration with Troy Carter, honours his loved ones and achievements.
The 33-year-old Atlanta rapper releases eight songs on his birthday album Family & Mula, including the brave standout hit “Risk Takers” and the haughty anthem “Krazy.” The opening track with Latin influences, “Kno No More,” “Dark Shades,” “Dangerous,” and more are among the additional songs. No Cap, an Alabama rapper, is the only artist featured (“Bigger Jeans”), with production by Dun Deal, IssAbandoned, 2tall, and others.
Rich Homie Quan declares that “Family and Mula is full of vitality.” “I’m using Atlanta slang because Quan is Quan. I’m using one of those hard-hitting 808s from the deep south of Georgia to tell my story from my perspective and point of view. I continue to motivate and inspire while challenging my contemporaries and the younger generation. Since finishing my last project, I’ve been concentrating on two things: family, as a new father, and money, touring every weekend for the past three years. The game continues.
Rich Homie Quan’s first release since Coma in 2019 is Family & Mula. Since then, Quan has intermittently released music, including “Daily Bread” and “To Be Worried,” among other songs, during the past year.
