Rick Ross Says “50 Cent Has Got No Value”; 50 Cent Responds

There are many beefs in Hip-Hop which have either been squashed or cooled off in recent times. Even 50 has sorted out his issues with many of his past rivals like Cam’ron, Fat Joe and even The Game to an extent. But Rick Ross and 50 Cent really don’t like each other, still, even after a decade of tension.

During an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, the rapper was asked by the host if he would ever collaborate with 50 Cent. Rozay said that the mogul doesn’t have value anymore so he wouldn’t. “Honestly, I’m a businessman. If 50 Cent still had value, I may have been done it. But not being funny, homie just ain’t that dude no more,” he said. “We was riding through L.A. smoking to ‘Hate It or Love It’ yesterday. That shit was dope. We was saluting Cool & Dre, that’s Miami who did the production. Game, 50 Cent… That was dope. If he was still making music like that, of course.” You can watch the specific clip or the full interview below (at 52:40 mark).

Complex caught up with 50 earlier today during the press run for the latest season of his hit TV show POWER and sought his reaction on Ross’ comments. “I don’t know what his value is to music culture at this moment,” he said. “I never made music with him. I don’t have interest in making music with him”

50 continued, explaining that most artists collaborate with the hot ones at the moment to stay relevant themselves. “A lot of these guys, even when you make reference to music culture and stuff like that, they’re one-trick ponies, so they’re going to be gone. In hip-hop, they say it’s not what have you done, what have you done for me lately, right? So you could get next to the guys that got momentum and try and survive based on that. But, it’s not a lot going on there.”
