Rick Ross shares new song Crocodile Python off “Black Market”.
With Rick Ross‘ Black Market set to drop in 10 days, the Teflon Don delivers the Jahlil Beats-produced “Crocodile Python.”
Arriving in the middle of the tracklist, “Crocodile Python” has Ross examining people jealous of his undoubted success. (“They wanna own everything I own, they send drones to surveil my home,” Ross alleges.) I’ve always thought Ross could deliver an incredible album if he stuck to soulful, drum-centric beats a la Just Blaze, and it seems like him pairing his life-contemplating lyrics with the sound (this time provided by Jahlil Beats) is doing the trick thus far. While “Crocodile Python” could come off as a slight complaint, the life of a boss has never been easy, and Ross seems to be more drained from the success rather upset it’s there.
