Rick Ross Talks 50 Cent Beef, Meek Mill vs. Wale, ‘Black Market’ & More.
Rick Ross’ 8th solo LP Black Market is three days away, arriving this Friday. The face of MMG headed to the Big Apple to promote the album, first with a stop at HOT 97’s Ebro In The Morning. During their 27-minute conversation, Rozay touched on going back and forth with 50 Cent, the Renzel Remixes mixtape, why no Maybach Music artists appear on Black Market, denies of any beef between Meek Mill and Wale, and dancing around the topic of calling off his engagement to Lira Mercer.
“This situation is dead, it’s beneath me on a lot of levels,” says Rick Ross when asked about 50 Cent wanting to meet after Ross mentioned the G-Unit rapper’s son on Instagram. “I made that statement on IG and I meant it… it’s the truth and I meant it. And I’m still processing the application, and if ever want to see Rozay you could book me. I’ll come to you mama house…I’ll bring Wingstop too. So for the 20th time, I never entertain that, you should never entertain that. Rozay is a man you should never want to just see.”
