Merging borders, the Illinois artist links up with UK producer Milodrama who supplies a wavy trap-style instrumental which sets the perfect backdrop for Rob’s unique style of flow. The signature sounds of thumping 808s, quivering synths and pulsing hi-hats echo throughout the song, creating an addictive trap beat, while Hollow’s vocals coast over the slick beat effortlessly, allowing him to deliver the bars to full effect.
Deriving the moniker Hollow from a character in the anime Bleach, the rapper sees his artistry as an alter-ego of sorts, allowing him to create music with a jovial energy.
