Roc Nation artist RØMANS releases his new single ‘Happy Love’.
‘Happy Love’ is a stunningly beautiful Pop / R&B jam where RØMANS’ effortlessly soulful vocal, combined with his eclectic production style and unfiltered storytelling mix to form what sounds like a modern classic. Taken from RØMANS ‘Automatic’ EP, which is also released today (March 31st), it’s the follow up to single ‘Love Is The Beast’ feat. Avelino, which The Fader described so succinctly; “Kanye West Passed On “Love Is The Beast,” so RØMANS and Avelino made it into a fatalistic banger.”
His third EP, the self produced ‘Automatic’ EP again sees RØMANS performing all instrumentation on the recording. It features his most confident compositions to date including two additional and as yet unheard tracks; ‘Stranger Things’ which slows things right down, his voice accompanied by bloops and a smattering of percussion, before building towards a classic pop chorus, which he sings over shards of dub reggae guitar and the title track ‘Automatic’ which is grittier, almost bluesy. RØMANS has also penned and produced songs for John Legend, Alicia Keys, Disclosure, AlunaGeorge, Kwabs, Låpsley and more. He has had a hit with Naughty Boy; composed ‘Tears’, a No 5 for Clean Bandit; appeared in the video for Doubt, a song he wrote for Mary J Blige that also featured Taylor Swift and even sat down at a piano with one of his all-time heroes, and fellow Pinner boy, Elton John.
