Wolverhampton-based artist S-X has dropped his highly awaited album, “Anywhere But Here,” with the final track, “Divided,” featuring the Mississippi native Big K.R.I.T. This release follows an intense period of training as S-X prepared for his debut boxing match at the Misfits Boxing Prime Card, sharing the stage with notable names like Tommy Fury, KSI, and Logan Paul. Despite the rigorous schedule and weight loss, S-X continued crafting the album, resulting in a collection that echoes with emotional depth and authenticity.

The album rollout is unique, with S-X releasing 10 tracks over 10 weeks, each accompanied by its own music video. S-X showcases his versatile talent by taking charge of production for nine of the tracks. The album features collaborations with UK rap icon Blade Brown and Big K.R.I.T, providing a diverse and multifaceted soundscape.

One standout track, “Wasting Time,” produced by The Elements, adds a distinctive dimension to the album. Known for their work with artists like Burna Boy and Rema, The Elements contribute to the album’s rich tapestry.

Describing his music as ‘sad boy music,’ S-X draws inspiration from personal heartbreak, creating a 10-track opus that delves into themes of addiction, turbulent relationships, and heartbreak. The penultimate track, “Answers,” is a testament to the enduring musical chemistry between S-X and Blade Brown, rooted in over a decade of friendship.

“Anywhere But Here” is not just an album; it’s a journey through the highs and lows of life, offering a poignant narrative that resonates universally. With its unique release strategy and collaborative features, S-X’s latest work stands as a testament to his artistic breadth and ability to connect with listeners on a deeply emotional level.
