ScHoolboy Q continues to tease his upcoming Blue Lips album with another double-feature presentation. This time around, he previews the tracks “Cooties” and “Love Birds” with a visualizer for each.
On his self-produced record, the L.A. rapper shares a quick moment of clarity. “Why God blessed me? I never deserved it / Followed my purpose / They put the blunts down, I opened the curtains / Shine on me perfect, lottery purchase.”
Meanwhile, for “Love Birds” featuring his TDE labelmates Devin Malik and Lance Skiiiwalker, the latter takes the spotlight with his sultry vocals.
“And ’cause your love got the best of me / Don’t get in my destiny,” sings Lance. “Fun girl, I’m missing me / And I’m bad, I been-” he continues with Devin’s background vocals, and Q’s adlibs.
Blue Lips is set to arrive on March 1 and it will feature the previously released tracks, “Yeern 101” and “Blueslides“.
