Canadian artist Scott Helman shares his highly anticipated album series Nonsuch Park (sa), aptly named after the Sutton based park he used to visit with his family as a child.
The electrifying 11-track album is packed with different elements of sound for different moods. Nonsuch Park (sa) features previously released tracks ‘Wait No More’, Everything Sucks’, ‘EVERGREEN’ and ‘Papa. The new, unheard tunes and soon to be favourites are the single ‘Lois’, ‘(nonsuchpark)’, ‘Good Problems’, ‘(california)’, ‘Afraid Of America’, ‘True Crime’, and ‘(meetagain)’.
“It was here where we would walk and cackle at awful jokes, lean in for the stories, make peace with our busy lives and draw meaning from the lessons we had learned since our last visit,” says Scott. “If my past works have been displays of discovery, this work is a declaration – a declaration of love, meaning, questions and truth, and it is all dedicated to you, Papa.
