Scribz Riley has shared new track ‘On My Sleeve’ feat. Kaash Paige and announced the release of his eagerly awaited debut EP Wish Me Luck on (20th Nov) via RCA Records/Sony Music.
With an edgy sound that blends multi-genres with R&B and Rap, Scribz has introduced himself as an artist in his own right this year with the singles East Side, Impress Me feat. Headie One and Mandy, cementing himself as a name to watch.
Building an impressive and unique body of work through each release, the final track to be released ahead of his debut EP is new song On My Sleeve feat. Kaash Paige, which is available as an instant grat with all pre-orders of the EP. With a smooth rap flow and a slick beat, it is a brooding track about not falling headfirst, complimented by the soulful stand out vocals of 19-year-old American singer-songwriter Kaash Paige. Scribz says;
“I was the kind of person who used to always wear their heart on their sleeve, but that didn’t always work out for me, so now I tend to move with my guard up, as it’s safer that way. The song is a self-refection of that realisation.”
“I had been listening to Kaash Paige’s “Parked Car Convos”, then I hit her up on insta, sent her the track, she f*cked with it and sent me over her verse, she killed in man, big up Kaash.”
Anticipation has been steadily building for debut EP Wish Me Luck, which will be released on 20th November. A musical statement of intent from Scribz, marking that moment before he made the switch to artist as well as producer, it will feature all four singles above alongside a host of brand-new unreleased tracks.
Whilst Wish Me Luck signifies the final part of Scribz’ first chapter, it’s just the start of the remarkable musical journey yet to come.
