With the album “Seyi Or Shay” set to hit the stores in 3 days, Seyi Shay releases a trailer to the debut album.
Since making her debut in the Nigerian music scene in 2011 with Loving Your Way & No Le Le, Seyi Shay has struggled to make any major impact in the Nigerian music industry, with several single’s and visuals, the only single that seemed to stand out were “Crazy” which featured Wizkid, Ragga Ragga and a few others.
The singer recently inked a recording deal with Island Records, details of this contract are unclear but seems to be a long term one. With singles like Right Now & Jangilova already out, high expectations mount from fans who have been waiting for something solid from the singer for years.
The Album is set to portray two sides of Seyi Shay and her music; Seyi portraying homely, traditional good girl and Shay portraying her eccentric, international and outrageous side. Judging by the two backgrounds she has socialized into and become a part of one has to wonder who is she really? Seyi or Shay?
