Sharna Bass “4:30am” Video

UK R&B singer Sharna Bass returns with her latest single ‘4.30am’. The single is the first track lifted from her forthcoming EP ‘Beautiful Chaos’, which will be released later this summer and feature one of the rappers of the moment; K Trap.

Sharna’s voice on 4.30am is gravelly, sensitive to pain and soul-soaked. Combining the true elements of R&B with soulful piano, the delicately powerful ‘4.30am’ transmits the message of sonic power and vulnerability loud and clear.

Sharna says of the track, “4.30am is a freestyle I wrote one night describing the pain of not being able to sleep due to the overthinking we all tend to do.”

It’s the injections of lightness and fun pared with rich, hard-edge melodies that make Sharna so thrilling. Feminine without being saccharine, her deep, brooding tone carries us through euphoria, heartache and melancholy, allowing her uncompromising charisma and vulnerability to take centre stage as she moves between the hard and the soft. Sharna has learned to find the beauty in the chaotic, and we’re with her on each song, trying to find it for ourselves too.
