Flowers, Shy Glizzy’s newest album, is filled with love and respect.
The D.C. rapper collaborates with NBA YoungBoy on “Fools Fall N Love,” 21 Savage on “Slime-U-Out,” and EST Gee on “Borderline” on the 20-track project.
Other songs include “Stepping On Sh!t,” “Underrated,” and “No Days Off,” which features Chris Brown. Flowers is Shy Glizzy’s first release since Don’t Feed The Sharks, which included his Glizzy Gang.
“So much blood, sweat, and tears went into creating this masterpiece,” Shy Glizzy explains. “I’m pleased that I can finally share this with the rest of the world. It’s been a long time coming, and there’s still a long way to go. Every encounter, good or terrible, aided my development (mentally and musically). Because of the many hurdles I had to overcome, this was most likely my most hardest project to date. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned in the process, it’s that tomorrow never comes. Give me my Flowers while I’m still able to smell them…”
