Shy Glizzy and 21 Savage need “No I.D.” on their new wavy collaboration.
After opening 2017 with his The World Is Yours EP, Shy Glizzy returns with a catchy new 21 Savage collaboration called “No I.D.” Both Glizzy and 21 have a gift for making catchy street music, and their new record finds them at their most quotable. Glizzy works his collaborator’s name into a clever hook, “I don’t need no I.D./I’m with 21,” while Savage returns the favor in the opening line of his verse, “I left my glizzy at my house/Cause I was with the Glizzys.” Also, after officially changing his name to Jefe for one project, the DC rapper will be known as Shy Glizzy once again.
Glizzy and 21 recently appeared on Ralo’s “I Hope It Don’t Jam,” a highlight from his Famerican Gangster 2 project.
