SK-47 serves new music video for his latest track, “Liar Liar,” has been released.
Unlike the majority of Drill artists who want to remain anonymous, SK – 47 has decided to shed his trademark orange and black mask. Liar Liar is a raucous street anthem that stays true to his signature unrepentant, furious, and confrontational approach.
SK-47 said this about the song: “As a young guy growing up on the streets of Lewisham, I composed “Liar Liar” to highlight that you don’t have to be a product of your surroundings. ‘Yes, I came from the streets surrounded by a life of crime, but music and the smart business decisions I’ve made since the shooting have given me access to a lifestyle beyond the streets,’ he says, explaining that the video is a reflection of his experience of fighting and training to control his anger after his best friend was killed in a shooting at which he was a witness when he was 20. It demonstrates that I have not changed at my core, but that I have become more nimble and adaptable so that I can fit in wherever.
