UK rapper Skepta is coming for an American crown. Skepta’s been impressing us with recent leaks “Lukey World” and “SHUT DOWN,” slowly and successfully crossing over to the U.S. of A, not an easy feat.
Grabbing a Houston influence, Skepta and producer Plastician team up for “Back Then.” You’ll instantly recognize the Mike Jones sample and lyrical references (title included), but nonetheless this is most definitely a Skepta record (“VOICEMAIL FOR DEM TINGS, TRUSS ME!”).
