This week has already been a busy week for Sneakbo as he unveiled further details surrounding his 2nd album 9 Lives. Across his social media channels he announced the name of the album, artwork and release date, leaving fans excited for the Brixton legends new full-length project with features from Mr Eazi, Br3yna, Fekky, Ard Adz, Tiny Boost, Greedy, Moleogo and more.
Sneakbo’s album will unveil some of his trials and tribulations whilst also showing his growth as a person and artist.
I called the album 9 LIVES because I’ve been through certain situations more than once that could of taken my life yet here I am.’
Following on from Love Is A Gamble ft. Kida Kudz, Sneakbo is ready for his next single, I Used To, featuring prominent figure in the UK Drill scene Stickz. A juxtaposition from the previous single, it’s a straight up hard UK rap banger, a sound we’re familiar with from the Brixton lyricist.
Sneakbo shows his commanding, effortless delivery, reminiscing about his past, and how he used to be, giving listeners an insight into the artist. Stickz jumps in for a verse with his catchy lyrics and well know strong, authoritative voice teamed with a laid-back flow.
The video, filmed in Brixton, shows the life Sneakbo used to live and where he’s from. It also points too how far he’s come with his music and how his life has changed since.
Sneakbo has always been at the forefront of the UK rap scene, which has swept across the UK and internationally for nearly a decade now, with other artists incorporating his unique sound. His debut single ‘The Wave’ released in 2011 hit the UK charts, but more importantly the clubs and airwaves, where people embraced his name and music. Since then he has released numerous hit singles, EP’s and mixtapes.
