It’s a strictly south London affair here, as Sneakbo (“Sneak-to-da-bo!”) taps the talents of Fekky and Snap Capone for new track, “Real G”. Lifted from his latest mixtape, Certified, which is out via Play Hard Records on October 26, “Real G” is the brand of anthemic, dancehall-infused rap we’ve come to expect from the Drake-approved rapper, and verses from Fekky and Snap Capone serve well to keep the boisterous energy going.
You’d be forgiven for making the mistake that Sneakbo’s much older than his years. Still in his early 20s, the Brixtonite has left his imprint in the landscape of UK rap since his emergence on breakout single, 2011’s “Touch Ah Button”. Tour dates, chart and radio hits all soon followed, and now, Sneakbo is gearing up to launch another assault on the music scene with Certified.
“I just want people to hear my music,” he tells us, “I don’t wanna spend my life looking over my shoulder—I just want to party, and be free.” And on that note, listen to the jump-up sounds of “Real G” down below.
