Sonne is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from Baltimore who spent much of his life in group and foster homes because his mother suffered from bi-polar disorder. His now manager, Chuck Greene, pulled Sonne out of a foster home and got him a publishing deal with Downtown Music Publishing in order that he might have some funds to cover living expenses while they created.
This song is dedicated to Sonne’s mother, who attempted suicide when he was young, just one of the reasons related to her illness that he was in the custody of CPS for so much of his life. Sonne has a unique ability to tell his stories that will endear him to a broad spectrum of audiences for many, many years to come.
