Stamped with the seal of approval from the ‘Voice of the Streets’ aka Kenny Allstar, Still Greedy drops the first single ‘On my Own’ from his upcoming EP ‘Melodic Wave’.
Making its debut to a fanfare of sirens and wheel ups, the track touched down on BBC Radio 1Xtra and has gone on to rumble through the underground as the record heats up ahead of its video release on GRM.
Still Greedy’s first release since joining the continuously rising independent label Dice Recordings (Big Narstie, Tremz, Izzie Gibbs), the South Londoner has created a widely recognised presence on the underground scene, which has lead to his current crossover in to the limelight. Collaborations and video drops alongside artists such as WSTRN’s Louis Rei for ’No Feelings’, plus ‘Let Me Know’ with S. Wavy & Deekay sit alongside massive hood anthems such as #Minute (featuring MularJuice, Mayhem and Vile Greeze).
Stepping off tour with Brixton legend Sneakbo, which saw Still Greedy hit the bill as main support and rejoin Sneakbo nightly to perform ‘Rude and Smooth’, (one of their three collaborations together), the rapper makes a strong launch in to his new music with ‘On My Own’.
