Top Boy was a series that was big in the UK despite only lasting two seasons before it got cancelled in 2013. Always proving to be a true fan of the UK and its culture, Drake announced that he was helping bring the show back as an executive producer. Fans of the show were sent into a frenzy. The third season of the series premieres tomorrow, Sept 13th.
Earlier this week, OVO Sound revealed that they were dropping a project of music that was inspired by the series. It predominantly features UK artists like Giggs, AJ Tracey, Dave and M Huncho but other OVO artists like Popcaan, Baka and of course, Drake appear. The Toronto superstar’s track is only a bonus and is a studio version of his ‘Behind Barz’ that dropped last year shortly after the release of Scorpion where he takes shots at Kanye West.
