GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Syd returns with her fiery new single “GMFU”. Produced by the legendary Rodney Jerkins and featuring Raphael Saadiq on bass, the track pairs a grungy vintage organ groove with Syd’s razor-sharp lyrics, as she drags an ex in her signature cool, cutting style.
The single follows her lovelorn summer bop “Die For This” and marks another step in Syd’s ever-evolving journey. Since her 2017 solo debut Fin, she’s dropped the critically acclaimed Hive Mind with THE INTERNET, earned a GRAMMY for co-writing Beyoncé’s “Plastic Off the Sofa”, and collaborated with the likes of Zayn, Kehlani, Kelly Rowland, and more.
Fresh off joining Billie Eilish on her UK tour, Syd will hit the road again supporting Renee Rapp on her U.S. Bite Me Tour this fall.
