With a fresh new remix of “Special,” Lizzo re-releases her smash single with SZA. Her newest album’s title tune serves as the old version’s inspiration.
The two divas put their doubts aside and boldly addressed their detractors in the remix.
“Fame is pretty new, but I’ve been used to people judging me / That’s why I move the way I move and why I’m so in love with me,” gloats Lizzo while SZA adds, “All I know, only God can judge me
I don’t hide my heart, I wear it on me.”
Their performance together at the Grammys serves as inspiration for their new project. SZA’s prize acceptance speech floored the audience. After performing “About Damn Time,” Lizzo took home the Record of the Year award.
