SZA’s new album, S.O.S., comes after a hiatus of more than five years since her previous effort.
The TDE singer’s sophomore album has a whopping 23 songs, including the singles “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” and “Shirt,” plus features from Don Toliver and Phoebe Bridgers.
On “Open Arms,” SZA reunites with Travis Scott, and on “Forgiveness,” the album’s closer, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard makes his posthumous cameo.
She just celebrated the fifth anniversary of her critically acclaimed and double-platinum first album, CTRL, with a deluxe edition of the album in June, and S.O.S. is the follow-up.
A week before the release of S.O.S., SZA appeared as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, where she played “Shirt” and “Blind” from the album.
