Kent-born, London-based artist Taylr continues to evolve with the release of “lie to you,” pairing virtuosic drum-led production with his unmistakable vocal tone. The new single deepens the psychedelic lane he’s been carving, blending rhythm-driven intensity with melodic vulnerability.

“lie to you” feels immersive, a track that builds atmosphere through layered percussion and textured sound design. Taylr’s ability to fuse musicianship with emotional storytelling remains central, as he explores love unravelled through a reflective, almost dreamlike lens.

The Dante Richardson-directed visual complements that mood. Known for work with Destroy Lonely and Converse, Richardson crafts a surreal, narrative-led story of romance gone wrong, amplifying Taylr’s avant-garde aesthetic.

Following his Duckwrth collaboration “twenty four” and a sold-out headline show celebrating his NEIGHBOURS series, Taylr enters 2026 with clear momentum. “lie to you” signals an artist pushing boundaries, sonically and visually, as he steps into his most ambitious era yet.
