Meek Mill joined Tee Grizzley for a remix to “First Day Out.”
The city of Philadelphia is in full celebration mode after their hometown Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in the 2018 NFL Super Bowl. One of the driving forces for their recent success is the currently incarcerated Meek Mill, whose “Dreams & Nightmares (Intro)” served as the team’s theme song during their playoff run and was used as the Eagles Super Bowl entrance music on Sunday night (Feb. 4). Detroit’s Tee Grizzley decides to pay his respect to the Dreamchasers MC, dropping the official remix to his break-out song “First Day Out.” The updated version features an opening verse and outro from Meek Mill.
“Without “Dreams & Nightmares” I wouldn’t have never made “First Day Out”. Meek gave me the inspiration so it’s only right 💯🤞🏾 I know how u feeling bro but trust me u gone look up and it’s gone be time to come home 🙏🏾free @MeekMill,” says Grizzley in a message posted on his Twitter.
