Pittsburgh-based musician, comedian, and actor Terry Jones comes through with his first solo album titled Friday The 14th.
Friday The 14th uses three distinct acts to resemble Dante Alighieri’s three narrative poems, employing a distinctive combination of storytelling methods to take the listener on a trip reminiscent of the Divine Comedy. Jones’ most personal piece to date is the result of this unique tale.
The 9-track project also features previously released single like Silent Like Chaplin, Shucky Ducky and J.T.B
Rapper Frzy, $avvy, and Mayce—all recipients of Emmy Awards—join Jones on an operatic voyage for the listener. With the support of production from Mayce Tomlin, Roscoe Wiki, and Gregg Harrington, Jones explores more of real life in Friday The 14th by drawing on his prior experiences and constructing a story full of turns, detours, and pop culture allusions.
