The-Dream has released “Stream Stream (V7 Demo Archive 9.20)” as a present to his fans in honour of his birthday and the passing of another year.
The 45-year-old Grammy-winning singer and producer croons about a lost love on the soothing and unreleased ballad.
When he sings, “It’s a cold world without you in it / All we gotta do is get past the beginning,” he means it. The world is a perilous place without you, because love isn’t about how things begin but rather how they end.
This is The-Dream’s first new song since his SXTP4 (Sextape 4) project dropped in 2020. Since then, he has worked behind the scenes on albums by Rihanna, Beyoncé, and others.
