Some have wondered why The Game, seemingly out of the blue, set his sights on Meek Mill, resulting in sending various shots in the Philly rapper’s direction with “92 Bars.”
Meek, unfettered, would return fire — with some help from Beanie Sigel and Sean Kingston(?) — wth his own diss track, a freestyle over Young M.A’s “OOOUUU.” Game then quickly responded with his owndiss track over the instrumental, “Pest Control.”
(The true winner of this current fracas? Young M.A. But, digressing.)
Anyways, Jayceon was a guest on Ebro’s Beats 1 Radio show yesterday (September 20th), where he revealed some of the basis of their issues to the veteran disc jockey. Game reveals that, while at a Los Angeles club, he offered some well wishes to Meek (as well as a bottle). As it turns out, Sean Kington would have his jewelry gracefully removed, which prompted him to call Game and insinuate that Meek suggested that the rapper set him up for the robbery. After a lot of back-and-forths later… here we are.
And there you have it: this entire beef started over some misinterpretations between three musicians who, rather than think logically and let cooler heads prevail, has devolved into Itchy & Scratchy-esque hijinks. Back to your regularly scheduled music programming.
