The Game takes aim at Rick Ross in his latest diss track, “Freeway’s Revenge,” catching fans off guard with his direct lyrics and soulful samples.
Over a soul-sampled loop, the Compton rapper wastes no time mocking Rozay’s lavish lifestyle, questioning the authenticity behind his tales of wealth and success.
“I don’t wanna hear about no fish tanks and marble floors / No spiral steps, no swimming pools, no Hors D’oeuvres, no Audemars,” raps Chuck T. “No car shows, no pinky rings, no umbrellas in the car doors / Introduce me and my connect to that Columbian you chop that raw for / Was it fabricated? The lies you tell are getting saturated?”
Additionally, Game doesn’t shy away from addressing Ross’s health concerns and past controversies, making references to his alleged preferences and previous career as a corrections officer.
“The Game is fresh off his feature on DJ Quik and Problem’s ‘Eazy Call’ with Big Hit, marking his return to music since last year’s ‘Paisley Dreams’ album with Big Hit.”
