From Drug Lord to DEA Agent: Bryan Cranston Stars In ‘The Infiltrator’ (Trailer)
After building a meth empire as Walter “Heisenberg” White in Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston finds himself on the other side of the war on drugs in his latest outing, The Infiltrator. Directed by Brad Furman, the true crime drama stars Cranston as DEA agent Robert Mazur, who went undercover in Pablo Escobar’s drug trafficking operation in the ’80s, and managed to pull off one of the biggest drug busts in U.S. history.
John Leguizamo co-stars as Mazur’s unpredictable partner and Diane Kruger poses as his fiancée, while Benjamin Bratt plays one of Escobar’s chief lieutenants whom Mazur befriends. The supporting cast also includes Amy Ryan, Yul Vazquez and Saïd Taghmaoui. The Infiltrator hits theaters on July 15.
